Define your RD&I Projects

Projects serve as the backbone on which your company’s RD&I Journey will be told, and provide a critical lens for the ongoing data ReaDI-Watch will help your team capture.

 

Every company has its own definition for what constitutes an RD&I project. A project is often described differently for R&D tax credits and other funders as well. In order to optimise for all reporting outcomes, RD&I projects are framed simply with a flexible, lightweight narrative.

 

ReaDI-Watch offers a template library with great project definition examples, tailored to your funding authorities, or you can use your company’s own format.

Capture your Real-Time RD&I Journey

Create updates in multiple ways to suit different teams and workflows.

 

Updates can be:

  • self-written;

  • created from uploaded documents; and/or

Quantify RD&I - Time, Cost & Claims

ReaDI-Watch allows time and costs to be captured directly within each RD&I project. Teams can choose between two flexible operating modes:

Operational Mode  provides a full time-logging and expense management system, enabling structured data capture alongside RD&I updates. This information feeds real-time dashboards and is immediately available for reporting and compliance.

Update-Only Mode supports organisations that use existing tools for time and expense tracking. In this mode, periodic summaries are captured within RD&I updates and maintained as part of the project record.

Regardless of the mode selected, ReaDI-Watch brings all project data together through a central claim management feature, supporting consistent administration, reporting, and audit readiness.

Query & Report

ReaDI-Watch makes reporting a natural extension of how R&D actually happens. Instead of starting from a blank page, reports are drafted directly from the RD&I Updates, evidence, and decisions already captured across your projects.

 

An interactive, AI-guided experience helps you assemble first-draft reports for boards, steering groups, and R&D tax submissions—section by section, fully aligned to your company’s standards and reporting requirements.
